Hosting A game

i used to be able to host Rome total war with my westell wirespeed conection
(dsl) after the last critical updates from microsoft i cannot host now but
only join games..i tried opening ports with the exception list and all kinds
of stuff,im close to throwing the game out.. but i know its something this
firewall updates from windows did it .is there a fix..i allready tried taken
out the laatest updates and didnt work or set back my hosting ability,,,HELP

Have you tried with the firewall off? If you do try this I recommend putting
it back on after testing it.

"tried it,also tried unchecking qos packet schedular..and notta no hosting
capability...man if system restore worked like it was supposed to i might
have got it back...wonder what it did to make me lose it...there must be a
checkbox or port im missing.. i even went to command and entered netstat -a
-o tried using pdi number and see which port it is trying to listen to and or
host with macthing number and notta...Help
