[SOLVED] Hosts file is breaking sling.com

I'm trying to subscribe to sling tv. When I select my base service, that is as far as I can go. I can't switch base service or add extras or checkout because buttons no longer work.

I tried it in different browsers and same outcome. I couldn't find anything else that could cause it, so I temporarily bypassed the hosts files and the website began working properly.

How would I determine which entry in hosts file is causing problem without bypassing hosts file?

Use NotePad to open and check the hosts files.

You can easily find other similar links.

Comment out ( # ) each entry one by one until Sling TV returns and the website works agaIn.

Recommend that you back up the Hosts file before doing anything.

Print out a copy as a reference to mark up and track the changes you make.

If the problem does not become apparent then contact Sling TV for assistance with your subscription.

Feel free to copy and paste in a copy of your Hosts file.

Someone may spot another problem or issue therein.

If you have more than a handful entries in the "hosts" file, you're using some strange form of ad blocking / DNS spoofing. You should direct your question to the place you've obtained this "hosts" file from.
