Hi there I currently have 3 140mm fan taking air in from the front and 3 140mm at the top and 1 140mm at the back all out taking. I was wondering only the very back most fan on the top and the back fan are blowing out hot air the other 2 top are completely cool. I have a full tower case btw. someone recommended to turn off the front 2 most top ones because all the cold air that the front is pulling in is getting taking out to quick to hit the components. was wondering what you guys think? i added pictures of what i have (sorry for flash).

Solution
Well, there isn't a simple yes/no answer for this. It does depend on the hardware config.

The use of 2 or more exhaust fans is for the benefit of the gpu(when it is active) more than anything else in the chassis. [At least for the models that dump their heat inside the chassis.]
Since a gaming gpu is usually the biggest heat producer, it makes sense to want to prioritize getting it's heat out as fast as possible.
When it's not seeing heavy use, that changes to the cpu, then those fans are not as useful.

They ere closest to your VRM and CPU coolers picking up heat from them. What are your temperatures ? Reducing number of intake fans is not gonna help for sure and why would it ?
All together, thy are doing their job but your CPU cooler may not be good enough.

i am not saying take the intake out i am saying the 2 140 outtakes. because the person was saying that the 2 140mm closest to the front are taking the cool air before they could hit the back. my temps are fine i was just wondering why there was only hot air coming outta 2 back fans
