Hot and slow PC

My system is an HP pavilion dv7 6gb ram and core I7 and hard drive space of 1tb but it is slow and it's temperature increases gradually and I have tried reinstalling windows 10 but problem keeps reoccurring what can I do

Is it slower than when you first installed the OS, and what is slow the start up, when using programs, or anything?

For the temperature issue, use compressed air to clean out any dust from the thermal vents that cover the laptop fans. Also insure that nothing is blocking the vents, like using it on top of anything other than a solid surface to allow fan clearance.

And is this when the temperature are rising? Throw me a bone here -- I can't drag all the details out of you question by question. Is it thermal throttling at 5 minutes? You can use many programs such as coreTemp to determine this and decide if it is the issue.
