Hot CPU when gaming

CPU i7 7700k 4.2GHz on a z270e motherboard overclocked at the asus optimal setting. 1.152v. Cooled by a NZXT Kraken x62 pump and radiator. All fans and pump set to 100% when temps exceed 60 degrees.

My problem is that my CPU will run a between 80 and 86 degrees when gaming (BFV mostly) with spikes of up to 90 degrees.

Is this too hot? I am worried I am will reduce the life of my CPU dramatically.

Msi gtx 1070 runs at about 70 to 75 degrees.

Ambient temp is below 30 but a bit humid.

Any information or suggestions would be appreciated

Online gaming is pretty stressful on the CPU, and overclocked CPUs will already get kinda hot. The good news is that you aren't pushing it too hard. The 7700K has a max temp of 100C. So, you aren't really in danger of killing it... that said the 7700K is kind of a hot CPU in general. It overclocks well, but pretty much started the delidding movement because of the way Intel built the CPU with basically a mediocre thermal paste instead of soldering the CPU core to the heat spreader... so if the high temps are a big problem for you, you can look at that route, otherwise you're running warm, but should be fine.

Still up to 90C seems abit hot for such a cooler,did you reseat the cooler? See if that makes any difference.
You have decent airflow in the case?
