Hello do any of you experts in computer hardware know if hot swappable DDR3/4 RAM exist which can be removed from a running host PC system and inserted into another running system ? The purpose of this is that once inserted into another live running system can the contents of this hot swappable RAM can be captured and analyzed.

Any comments ?

Most likely result would be blown RAM or MB and as RAM doesn't retain any data after power off, there's no use for operation like that. There were some attempts of RAM with battery backup but with advent of SSDs I'm not aware of any further tests. Idea was to have OS in very fast memory device as RAM is so computer would boot up to OS instantly. No idea if it was hot plugable though.
