Hotkeys dont i n any games

How do I stop the hotkeys from outputing #s 0-9andgetting the hotkeys to their default settings?

I'm using a brand new Dell XPS L501

I've looked a lot on google but no luck. For some reasons my hotkeys worked 30 min ago after they stopped working but now they don't work again.

I have the same problem on my Lenovo Ideapad. Did you ever find a solution? it's been an issue for a while now. it used to work, or, I thought it worked.
