Hotmail Sign in for PC launch

my computer restarted automatically after a background update and now asks me for a password to my Hotmail account, an account which I do not have, before I can log into my PC . Any idea how I can bypass this request?

boot into safe mode and run some antimalware apps like malwarebytes. it sounds like you have a hijack program running.

Thanks for the suggestion, tried to start in Safe Mode by using Shift+F10 and eventually selecting Safe Mode from the options to restart; unfortunately it came up with the same request to enter my password for a hotmail account I don`t have.

can you log on as normal. if so get a copy of ccleaner. run it and use the startup edit options and disable the email log on. then look through the installed programs to see if theres something that shouldnt be there.
1s done reboot and the message should be gone. then run the anti malware apps again
