Question Hotspot temperature

Hello, i have a Powercolor AMD rx6750xt.
While gaming the base temperature of the gpu is fine around 70-80 celsius but the hotspot temperature can go up to 108 celsius.
It has been like this for some time and i dont see any problem like gpu damage or throttling or anything out of the ordinary except the hotspot temp number.
Is it alright or should i look into some sort of repairs or replacement?

Hey there.

Looking at some threads like this: https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/...-105 °,paste application or mounting pressure.

It seems this is common. If the GPU temps are over 50c lower than the hotspot, it can indicate poor application of thermal paste, or uneven mounting of the heatsink.

On the basis of that, it would seem you are okay.
