Household item for wiping TIM?

What is the best item for wiping away thermal compound?

Not to clean off the compound (Like isopropyl alcohol, or nail polish remover) but to wipe it away (Something like a paper towel or a cloth).

any lint-free cloth should do. I used a coffee filter, but a paper towel should do just fine.

A coffee filter if you have one. If not I've used papertowels, just be sure to moisten with alcohol. They tend to disintegrate pretty easy and leave little bits behind if snagged on any sharp corners.
