Question How a more powerful 9th G Motherboard can be cheaper than a 8th G motherboard?

I wonder how a 9th Generation more Powerful Motherboard can be cheaper than a 8th Generation Motherboard? Let me know if here the 8th Gen one is more powerful.

Here is 8th G Gigabyte Z370XP SLI and 9th G Gigabyte Z390 UD.

Have a look, the Z390 has a more powerful chipset than the Z370 one. But the price is lower. How is it possible?

There is nothing "more powerful" about the Z390 over the Z370. In fact the Z370 board you picked is higher end than the Z390 board. The Z390 does not have SLI support, in addition to being a lower end model.
