I bought a gtx 1060 3gb and used DDU and uninstalled all of my old gpu's drivers etc. My PC shut down and then I uninstalled my old gpu and then reinstalled my new 1060. One SATA cable disconnected when i installed the new card. When I turned my PC on I got a message saying no 'boot device found ,please install an operating system onto the hard drive'when I previously had Windows 10 on the exact same hard drive. Any idea what has happened here and what I should do ?

Solution
I would assume the SATA connector that disconnected is connected to your boot device (SSD, HDD). If you reconnected it, I'd try again.
