how are Nvidea Motherboards? didnt look into it as i should have..

i always loved the nvidea gpu..since i got the 460 back in 09 or 2010...nvidea all the way..
so im building new comp now with MSI sli krait edition z97 and nvidea 970 i was thinking...2 things really
is a msi GPU better for cohesiveness with a MSI mobo?
or with the nvidea gpu should i have gone nvidea mobo?
or am i way wrong here is MSI like EVGA and just make these things?

nvidia don't make mobo chipset anymore.

Now a days comparability is pretty much universal, MSI with ASUS, ASUS with Gigabyte, MSI with Zotac ,Asrock with EVGA, EVGA with Gigabyte, Performance is within 2 percent on stock setups.

getting an msi mobo does not require you to get msi gpu's.
