Have always used prebuilts in the past, this will be my first DIY build.

Usually i play mmos (wow, ffxiv) and the occasional AAA title with netflix/disney/youtube etc, going in the background. Just looking to confirm if the choices i made on parts (nothing bought yet) will work out or if i should change anything. Ideal goal is stable 120+ high/ultra settings for games. Am in Ontario canada near ish to ottawa if relevant. Any advice/tips welcome!

Pretty solid build. If it were me though id stick with heatsink and fan (Nocta D15s for example, your case has enough room) as there is much less points of failure. Pumps do die eventually, might take a few years, maybe sooner, but is something i wouldn't want on my mind. 7800X3D is easily cooled on air and games aren't exactly hot running compared to benchmarks.

The 7800X3D runs pretty cool. A dual tower air cooler is more than sufficient for that cpu. Here's a few ideas to have a look at.

Good to know, thanks. Honestly only chose AIO cos my current PC has had tons of cpu overheating issues and kinda dislike how loud it can get so ill def look into that

Are you constrained with merchant choices?

Cuz a similar spec build can be done sub 3k like this:
