Hi!

I'm looking for a very cheap 144hz monitor, so I looked at used ones on a site popular in my country and I found MSI Optix G24C

It looks great, is curved a bit so a new experience, though some people were mentioning that pixels showing things far away are blurry

Reviews are nowhere to be found except for Amazon ones where it's mostly positive, I don't know how important few reviews mentioning cons really are, but I'mstill considering it as it's about $175 which is about top of my budget

One thing that concerned me is that guy selling this mentioned a dead pixel. just one but it exists, my question is, how bad is it really if I'm gaming 90% of the time? is it even noticeable? Also if you have any info about this monitor and why would I want/not want to buy it you can post it here

Thanks!

It depends where is located. If it is right center you might notice it. Otherwise is not a big deal.

The MSI Optix G24C is a nice display for the price, but I suggest you buy it new.
You could find it new (if in the USA) for a lower price.

I'm in Poland so there is no way for me to buy things on Amazon, I mean I could, but that would be dumb

Well I won't be able to affor a new one probably but I'll think about it and ask guy where the dead pixel is

I found MSI Optix MAG241C in an online shop which is -10% because guy who bought it returned it, weird but I'm not gonna complain, they claim it's almost brand new apart from the previous owner and 100% working so that's fine

Is it a good buy for about $240(note: prices in Poland are that high if we're talking about new 144hz monitors so I'm not gonna get a brand new one for lower price probably)
