Question How bad is this HP Oem 180w?

Reliable or prone to failure? I remember some pc builder calling hp out for using poor quality oem psu's and can't find much about it. All it has to power is a i5 3330 / 8 gb / 2 x 1 tb drives + ssd. For my parents . Picked them up as bargain, in new condition. Is this one of those things that takes out every rest of the components if it dies, safety features etc? Any info would be appriciated

As long as the total system wattage consumption is no more than 150w (so leaving 30w overhead) it should be fine.
