How bad of a bottleneck will I get?

Current specs:
i5 650 @3.2 ghz
4gb kingston 1333 ram
gigabyte p55m-ud4 mobo
2x 9800GT 512 in SLI
500 Caviar Black hdd
450w Ultra psu

I want to upgrade my psu and gpu to a corsair cx600 and the gpu to a powercolor 7950. I might upgrade to a fx 6300 and upgrade to 8gb ram. I would OC the 6300 to about 4.2-4.4

Any thoughts?

Well if you upgrade to a FX-6300, there won't be any bottleneck at all. But you probably know that you need to upgrade the motherboard too.

Yeah i know I'd have to get a new mobo I'd get a 990 but if I were to keep the i5 for a few months how bad of a bottleneck would I have do you think?

There will be a bottleneck indeed, although it's hard to quantify. I'd say a medium bottleneck.

Alright how much of a performance increase would you say i'd get with a 7950 or 7970? Could I max games out? Would getting 8 gigs of ram help?

You can look at benchmarks there are plenty of them for the 7950 and 7970. But basically you can expect 10 to 20% difference between the two depending on the game. And yes RAM is cheap so I would definitely get 8GB. Try to get the exact same RAM as it's not always good to mix different brand & model it can cause system instability sometimes. And you'll definitely want to get that FX-6300 along the way. With all these upgrades you should be able to max out every games for a while.
