How badly damaged is this motherboard?

The heatsink pins slipped and did this. For more details:

I am wondering if I should continue assembly and test boot - or just stop here, and maybe draw over the circuits that look badly off, with a Circuit writing pen - http://www.amazon.com/CircuitWriterTM-Precision-Pen-silver-based-grams.

Reading the prior thread it appears that you've managed to re-install the stock HSF assembly. DO NOT use a 'Circuit Wire Pen' or do any form of DIY repair. If the MOBO fails then RMA the MOBO if the HSF fails to hold fast then RMA the CPU w/HSF.


Yes, it's seated now. Intel DH77KC motherboard and default heatsink + fan on a Core i5 3330 processor :-/
