I want to install a new 250 gig hard drive on my computer (as a second
drive) but am not sure the mb/bios will accept it. Is there a way to
determine this ahead of time? Is this sort of thing limited by the
motherboard or by the BIOS, or both? I looked in the mb book and went into
setup but didn't find any answers. Where can I learn more about this?

BTW, the board is an Albitron PX845PEV Pro with a P4 2.4 cpu. The indicated
BIOS is Phoenix-Award 6.00PG.

Worst case you spend a couple dollars on a PCI controller card. Or
partition it into two 125GB drives.

or: ftp://download.intel.com/support/chipsets/iaa/48lbachk.exe
