I am building a pc but on the pdf i didn't found information about the dimentions of "se7520bd2 c44686-801" motherboard, can somone tell me if it fit a mid case or it's too big?

Solution

E-ATX is UP TO 330mm, but that doesn't mean E-ATX boards are always that wide ( deep, for the server crew ). Plenty of boards marketed E-ATX are just barely over the ATX spec at about 10.5" / 270mm or so. These can often fit in a normal ATX case, with the forward edge just creeping into the cabling grommet and punch outs. I have one such setup right now. And I'm willing to give MM the benefit of the doubt that he simply missed typing an "E" in that last post.

His original point about the stand-offs and holes not being the same between E-ATX and SSI EEB is the more salient point. Even if you could fit the board in an ATX or E-ATX...
The se7520bd2 c44686-801 is form factor SSI EEB (also called Extended ATX or E-ATX) and SSI EEB dimensions are 12” x 13” (30,5 cm x 33 cm).

Will fit ATX form factor case however, not all of the standoff holes would be the same and in some cases you may have to drill extra holes.

That's a pretty dated system running ddr2 with a rage xl 8m. Unless your running server 03 or xp, you'll not find drivers for server 08/08r2/7 and above. So be prepared for 256 colors on everything.

I talked about the "fit" part , not the "stand off screws" part . I did not say "NO" to his stand offs locations comment , I agree with it .

and this mobo is clearly 330 long and not short .

Peace.

Not according to AMD's website ;) http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
There ARE 7 drivers but are buggy and prone to crash often. Last OFFICIAL driver was for XP. Matter of fact, my IBM x3500 model 7977 came with a rage xl 128 and last official support for it was server 03 for enterprise class
