How big of an improvement will I see with the new parts?

After Christmas I am going to be buying a new CPU, the i5 4670K or the 4690K, I was wondering how much of an improvement I will see with either one of those CPU's compared to my AMD Athlon II x3 450 and a FOXCONN motherboard, also what motherboard do you recommend for the i5, I was looking at a PC MATE Z97.
My GPU is a GTX 660 GIGABYTE overclocked 2GB edition.

Don't buy pc mate or foxconn or biostar. Go for Asus asrock gigabyte or MSI. As for improvement you will see an insane improvement as long as your GPU doesn't bottleneck it in games

Thanks for the reply, what motherboard do you recommend for around £70-£80? Also, should I get an after market cooler just in case i decide to overclock?
