[SOLVED] How big of power supply to test some spare motherboards

Hi. I have a F2A85X-UP4 and 880g-e45 with processors and ram in them, I want to fire them up and test them out to make sure they both work and stuff.
Only problem is, what minimum or max size power supply should is use? I don't want to mess them up using the wrong sized one.

You can't have too high a wattage, the computer only takes as much as it needs, 350-400w should be fine and 500w with a GPU, if you find all your parts on https://pcpartpicker.com and add 100w to the total it comes out with that'll be perfectly fine

Thanks Cole. Would a 250 or 300 work just for testing without a graphics card even?

300 should be fine

I'd have to agree - just a basic test, and no GPU, 300 should be plenty.
