Question How big?

Hi!
My question is that how big PSU do I need?
I have an i5-9400F, a 1660 OC, 8GB DDR4 RAM @ 2400MHz, 1 M.2 drive and a 1TB HDD 7.2k RPM.

My friend says that he read that somewhere that the CPU could use 250W under pressure, but I didn't find any threads about that (not just here, I searched it on Google, but found nothing.)

So, the question is, that do I need a 700W PSU what he recommends, or a 550W Corsair Gold is enough?

A quality 550 watt PSU is more than enough for your system. Look to Seasonic's Focus Gold series.
