How can 6gb ram be 7.4 and 4 gb ram be 7.1 in windows rating

Hello,
I want to know i have 4gb ram on my laptop and the rating is 7.1 and my friend has 6gb but the rating is 7.4.
My question is for 2 gb ram the rating only increases by 0.3 cus i dont think it is posible can anyone explain this?

How fast is the memory & processor in your machine compared to friends?

The windows rating does not care about the amount of ram , it tests the speed and capability of it (memory operations per second). I have 24gb of ram and the windows experience is 7.8.

I have 16gb of ram and only a 7.4 wei.
