how can i add additional hard disk

can i add another hard disk in my pc using different types of hard disk?. the built in hard disk in my PC is a SATA hard disk and i want to add another hard disk IDE connector types, it is possible? and how...

by the way, the motherboard has two types of connector slot, a SATA slot and a IDE slot.. now my concern is, can i use it both for adding IDE hard disk in the same time to extend my storage?.

I assume then you motherboard doesn't have an IDE connector?

I recommend a USB-IDE enclosure, or one of those dock thing, and hook up to your system via USB.

There are SATA to IDE adapters but my experience with them is been negative.
