In one house there is internet ,with router and wifi. There is a second house about 200 ft distance.Though there is rj45 socket available on this router cat5 cable cannot be run.How to fix an external antenna on the first house .It is to be connected to the spare rj45 socket on router.Router's small inbuilt antenna cannot be disconnected.

You would probaby want to use a good directional antenna with the Access Point pointed at the other house with a similar device to recieve the signal and transmit it through the second house.

Keep in mind that using the wireless that way will drop your bandwidth by half at the other side.

http://www.trendnet.com/products/proddetail.asp?prod=105_TEW-715APO can be mounted outside the house, connect it to the first router with the ethernet cable. Then you can get a wifi repeater and point it at the directional antenna and use that to connect to the network.
