[SOLVED] how can i change an old admin's name on my macbook pro ?

i already have the passwords and everything so thats not the issue. my friend sold me her mac we changed passwords and everything we just can't figure out how to switch the names ..

Just create a new account and delete the old one.

If you do what McHenryB suggests make sure that you make the new account an Administrator FIRST!

There are several articles on how to change the user name of a profile, just do a search. If you delete the profile you will likely also want to delete the .DMG archive that gets created after deletion. (This is why it takes so long to delete a profile, just let it run until it finishes).
