[SOLVED] How can I check for damage after accidental shutdown of power - Windows 10

Hello,

Just about half an hour ago, I accidentally turned off my power cord while my PC was still running idle in Desktop.

I was wondering what sort of damage could be done and if there is any way for me to somehow check for any possible damage done to the software and hardware.

If it booted back up, likely fine. Modern OS use a journaled disk, so shouldn't have been any data corruption.

No real way to check for damage.

Windows will complain that you did not shut down correctly. It should recover on its own unless you have existing issues with hardware or software. it may perform a system check its ok to let it
