How can I check to see if my external hard drives are not infected with the Help_Decrypt virus

MY COMPUTER WAS HIT WITH THE CRYPTOWALL 3.0 VIRUS. AFTER HAVING MY COMPUTER CLEANED TWICE WITHIN 24 HOURS, I'M NOT SURE IF MY 2 EXTERNAL HARD DRIVES STILL HAVE THE VIRUS. DOCS I HAVE NOW BEEN ABLE TO OPEN, BUT PICTURES AND VIDEOS ARE ANOTHER STORY. IS THERE ANY WAY TO GET THEM BACK (SHORT OF PAYING A RANSOM TO RETRIEVE THE KEY?)

There currently is no way to decrypt any of cryptowall 3's encrypted files. cryptowall 2 decryption is only available because when the authorities took one of the servers they were able to retrieve the long list of unlock keys so when you run the decryptor program it merely trys all these keys until it finds one that works.
