How can I clean black electrical tape residue?

So I had my previous SSD card secured in my case with black electrical tape. I also taped some wires and cables with it. Now I've replaced the SSD with a larger one and want to move the old one to a laptop. But it is covered in sticky black residue from the tape.

What is a safe way to clean the tape residue off my SSD and the inside of my case? I don't want to strip the paint from it or use anything that isn't safe inside a PC.

For the PC use paraffin or spirits on a dry cloth they are great for cleaning because it won't damage it or remove the paint and for the SSD use a damp cloth and warm water or some alcohol... Don't use the paraffin because it will remove the information on the sticker...

Why are u so concerned the inside of the case, nobody gonna see it.

Try Goo Gone, smells little bit nicer than WD40 😉
