[SOLVED] How can I compare my integrated graphics to a potential graphics card?

Hey guys,

First time post here. I've been using the integrated graphics on my system since I built it, but now I'm looking to upgrade so I can use Adobe After Effects faster (it's pretty much standing still now) as well as a better performance while using Adobe Premiere. Playing a few games like CS:GO would be nice too, not expecting high frame rates.

So my question is how can I test my integrated graphics to find a score to compare to a card? Can I do it with Futuremark software?

I'm not looking to spend more than €150 or so, that's why I'd like to know would I be able to improve on what I have now at that price range.

These are my specs:
AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor

*Motherboard Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Micro ATX AM3+

*Memory Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333

Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM

*Power Supply Corsair 430W ATX12V

Thanks a million for any help. If there's any video editors out there that would recommend I change my system to improve performance, I'd be glad for that advice also.

You can find benchmarks on the web I'm pretty sure. But I can tell you adding in a graphics card will give a huge performance boost.
Go for the 1050 ti btw, great for your budget.

You could run something like 3dmark, to see where your integrated graphics rates. There's no point though, the reality is your integrated graphics are so low end that getting an exact idea doesn't really do anything for you. The difference is going to be night and day in most things that rely on graphics power.

As far as editors go, I'd use the Adobe ones if you can. Those skills can come in handy if you decide to pursue videoediting, since those editors are in use everywhere. I'd also look into what Adobe recommends for hardware acceleration. Usually Nvidia cards get pretty good use, due to having CUDA.

Depending on the type of videos you work on, upping to 16gb system ram may help. Using an SSD may also help keep the computer responsive.

This is uhhh an old as f*** topic but I still need some help.
So my processor has integrated graphics as well, it's an AMD Athlon 5150 APU. It comes with Radeon HD 8400-R3, but while looking up possible GPUs compatible with my motherboard, I saw there is also a GPU with that model.
How would that GPU compare with the processor? Would it be worth it to buy it and add it to my PC along the processor?
