I want to be able to connect my headset (male aux connector) to the outputs of my phone and my electronic drums (female aux connectors)

I hadn't thought about that option. He may be wanting to play the electronic drums along with the MP3 player. Yeah, he would need a mixer for that. Something like this.

Easy. You have a couple of options. One, the cheapest, is a 3.5 Y adatper. Plug both into it and run that to your speaker. The only problem with that is that you can only have one on at a time or you will hear both playing. The other option, more expensive but better results, is a 3.5 switch.

3.5 Y adapter - https://www.amazon.com/Hosa-YMM232-6-Inch-Adapter-Male-Dual/dp/B000068O5G/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1517711693&sr=8-3&keywords=3.5+y+adapter or https://www.amazon.com/HTTX-Female-Plated-Headphone-Splitter/dp/B01HAVU718/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1517711736&sr=8-3&keywords=3.5+y+adapter+2+male+1+female depending on which way you need the connectors and jacks.

3.5 switch https://www.amazon.com/Stereo-Manual-Selector-Sharing-Switch/dp/B00NTKFKMG/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1517711778&sr=1-3&keywords=3.5+y+switch

If it were me, I would go with the swtich. It is bi-directional, so you have more flexibility and can have 2 ins, 1 out or 2 outs, 1 in.
