Let me go into a bit more detail here. I bought a monitor a few weeks ago and its a full 1080p monitor it just does not have an hdmi port on it. So I started using an VGA cable because I was told it is just as good as hdmi. Well I am buying a gtx650ti boost and I was told for the graphics card to function properly it needs to be connected from the graphics card to my monitor. The gtx650 only has an hdmi and DVI ports. So what would I need to do to connect the graphics card to my monitor? Are there adapters or what?
Thanks for reading and have a good day.

most video cards come with a dvi to vga adapter to convert the signal from the dvi video card output to a vga signal for a monitor. if it doesn't, they are like $5.

I would assume the monitor has a dvi port on it though, I've never seen a newer 1080p monitor with only vga without at least dvi.
Just get a dvi cable in that case.
