How can I copy my 200 GB OS partition on my HDD to my 250 GB SSD without deleting the other 1800 GB on my HDD?

I'm trying to upgrade my PC with an SSD, but the samsung data migration software says it will delete all files on the old disk when it's done,
is this true for the whole disk or will it only delete the C: partition?

because I don't want to lose all the other data because of a technicality and I don't just have a spare 2 TB HDD lying around...

in the case it does clear all partitions, then which software should I use?

Good idea! Just be sure that the SSD is the ONLY drive connected when you do the installation. Otherwise, Windows will also install some boot files on the old HDD. If the HDD ever fails, you cannot boot into Windows!

I tried this and it gave the error that it was missing the EFI file, even though I cloned my C partition completely.

Thank you for your time, but I've been informed by most of my colleagues that it's faster and safer to just reinstall windows on the SSD and one of them is even gonna help me with it.
