How can I decrypt files that were encrypted on my old computer?

I transferred my encrypted files from my old hard disk to my new one, but now I can't even use them. How can I fix this?

Did you backup the key/s used to encrypt the files? If not then you're SOL.

Hopefully, by "transferred" you mean copied and pasted not cut and pasted. If they're still on the old disk they could be recoverable.
