So I just got a new hard drive for my computer, took out the old one put in the new one installed windows 7 everything is working fine, but now I need to install my drivers and I have no clue how to, I have an ASUS H81M-E motherboard and a GTX 980Ti. I have the dvds that came with both can I use those to install the drivers? I tried putting the motherboards dvd in but nothing happened. Also I have my laptop which has an internet connection and a usb drive so I could go that route as well. So, what drivers do I need, where do I get them and how do I install them?

Focus on getting your LAN/Wireless Network driver. Once you have that, #1, it is easier to pull down the others, and #2 it will mostly be automatic.

Your motherboard disc should have the drivers on it - though you may have to use explore and actually look. Otherwise you will need to load them on a disc or usb. If usb, make sure you have the drivers working to allow usb interfacing.

Go to your manufacturer's (motherboard) page, and that'll have the drivers listed for download there.

So I got the chipset audio lan and usb drivers installed, the last ones i installed were the usb ones then I restarted, now my keyboard and mouse don't work? I made sure they are both plugged into usb 2.0 ports.

Finish your updates and Windows update. It's almost certain they'll snap back. If you have to, remember that tab cycles controls in a installer.

I cant even use my keyboard to type my password to log in, also i've had to restart it so many times when i boot it up it now wants to go into system recovery, but i cant use my mouse or keyboard to select anything. The keyboard and mouse work fine in the bios but the second windows loads the back lighting goes off and they don't work

Evidently you must have screwed something up quite badly. Are you certain you installed the proper drivers? 32x/64x can be a problem, and further you'll want to make sure it's the right OS.....

Sounds to me like you should probably do a clean installation of Windows. Use another system to format the drive if you have to.
