How can I download Windows 7 from a flash drive on a BRAND NEW BUILD?

Hello all!

When I finish my build, I need to be able to install windows 7 (or 8) from a flash drive since I do not have an optical drive.

Also the software may or may not be completely legal to be truthful. Any help on this? I know you can choose the USB when you boot up, but I'm not sure what files to have on it...

microsoft has a free iso to usb tool that you can download. you plug your usb stick in your other pc. put the windows 7 disk in that computer drive and run it and it make a bootable stick for you. if no cd then point the porgram to your downloaded iso image.

Download the "Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool" from Microsoft. It will convert any windows DVD or .ISO into a bootable USB drive. It even works with personalized windows install .ISOs.
