How can I earn money to buy a gaming pc?

Hi, i need money so that i can game on a proper pc (looking around the £1000 range), my mother is willing to put around 300. Where I live there aren't any houses meaning I can't mow lawns and I definitely cannot do chores for money. Since I am 14 i was wondering if i could work at a food chain like starbucks, macdonalds, etc during school holidays.

You'll have to check local labor laws and individual corporate policies. I started working at age 15 at a pizza restaurant, but I had to fake my birth certificate because they wouldn't hire anyone under 16. After a year of work I only had earned about $3000, this was 15 years ago, but still it will take a lot of time to earn that much. I would look to buy a used computer as it will be much more obtainable.

To get a job at a chain store you may have local labor laws blocking you or insurnace costs (it is a different rate for a lrg business to employ 14 year olds vs 16 yr olds or 18 yr olds).

When I was 15 I worked for the high school over the summer to earn money, see what sort of programs are available. Check with job service centers, teen centers etc.

If there is nothing in your immediate area for odd jobs/chores then look beyond that. Check with local small businesses if they can hire you or "contract" you to do some odd jobs etc.

Get a job? I starting putting books back on their place at the local library around when I was 14. Before that I used to take the neighbors dog out for walks etc?
