How can I emit sound through two different sources at the same time on Windows 10?

I'm going to do "backseat gaming" with my girl friend, and we're going to play Outlast. I want one of us to use my Steelseries headphones and the other to use the phone earplugs, but I don't know how to do so...
Is there a way to play sound through two different devices at the same time, without delays (preferably, because of the jumpscares) on Windows 10?
I tried plugging one in the jack on the back of my case, and the other on the front, but they seem to cancel each other. Most the tutorials I see on Google are for Windows 7, for some reason I don't have all the same options as I would on a Win 7.
Thanks in advance!

You can output through the rear speaker port and the front headphone header with Win10, I do that myself. But you'd need to go through your specific audio interface to set it up, assuming it supports it.

Another option would be to get a headphone splitter and just hook up both headphones to it.
