[SOLVED] How can I enter Bios mode on an external monitor?

Hi,
I have a Toshiba satellite laptop p55w-b5220 that had it's screen broken. I can't see absolutely anything and used to use my T.V as an alternative display. Laptop was accidentally shutdown while in a Windows update so I'm trying to recover it but can't access the Bios mode since the screen is broken. I can't get the Bios to open on my external display. If anyone could help I would appreciate it!

try this trick: press power button then close lid
or look on your Fn keys if you have monitor switch button there (Fn + F4)
