How can I export and restore ethernet network settings in Windows 11?

but

netsh lan export profile key=clear folder="%UserProfile%\Desktop"

outputs

'key' is not a valid argument for this command.

One or more parameters for the command are not correct or missing.

How can I export and restore ethernet network settings in Windows 11?

lan don't have a security key like wlan

On computers the lan settings (NIC) would be part of a system backup.

For the overall network, the router llkely provides for some backup/export of relevant network settings.

I'm presuming you want to restore these settings later.

So rather than trying to find out how to back it up, figure out what sets these things in the command line and write a script or something to set this up for you.
