How Can i extend my desktop to my laptop without Miracast?

Hey Guys

I want to use my Laptop as a 2nd screen for my desktop (both on windows 10)

this would be easy if my desktop had miracast but it doesn't

I'm sure there is software you can use to do this but where ever i search i just get people explaining how to use miracast

Does anyone have any ideas?

You can use desktop screen as 2nd screen for your laptop.

Other way - not that simple. With remote desktop that can be done, if you run Remote Desktop on laptop and connect to your desktop pc.
