Question how can I find a new (or repair) 3 pin connector on motherboard for cpu cooler

Any advice on how I might find a new connector (or if it is possible to repair the broken pin) would be most welcome.

Not really sure you can repair that. Depending on the motherboard you can plug it into any fan header or molex adapter from the PSU and disable the CPU fan error in BIOS.

Molex will make it run full speed all the time and might be loud.

It is a laptop so power sources are limited.

then your options are very limited. How damaged is it ? I did re-solder connectors that ripped cleanly, but it all depends on how badly its broken.
do you have any other fans in system ? Maybe you can get away with the splitter ?

There are no other fans. The pitch size for the 3-pin female connector is 1mm so I'm looking into that for now.
