[SOLVED] How can I fit a non-VGA GPU into a VGA-only monitor?

So, I am planning to buy Radeon R9 290, and I have a VGA monitor. Only VGA. And Radeon R9 290 has no VGA port. Which adapter do I need to buy?

You'll need an active dvi-d, displayport or hdmi to vga adapter.

The active adapters are the ones with a wire coming out of them. The passive ones are the plugs (the convert VGA to DVI-I, which carries both digital and analog; thsVGA to DVI-D plugs are a scam). Also, cables with one end VGA and another HDMI or DP or DVI-D are a scam, since VGA carries analog signal and those digital.
