My mouse middle button sometimes clicked twice , so I tried to fix the spring mechanism . Which I thought I accomplished , but instead I messed up really badly . Now instead of just one problem , it has three
1 it still double clicks , although not that often
2 I need to push the button hard to actually click , also the click sound is quieter than before
3 sometimes while scrolling the button clicks ,especially while scrolling downwards

Any idea how can I fix this ? Other than buying a new mouse , I don't feel like spending money on something I could potentially fix

The microswitch is physically worn out.

Disassemble and discover exactly what switch it is. Replace.

The switches are worn down and causing it. No matter if it's in a mouse, a car, or anything mechanical; worn parts get replaced because they can't be fixed. There is probably no free fix if that's what you want. The only free solution I could think of is if you had a donor mouse to swap switches. But you can't just switch to any switch.

What mouse is it?
I presume it no longer is under warranty.
Can you use software to switch the function to other mouse buttons?

Really, it is time for a new mouse.
Likely you have become used to this particular mouse so I would just look for a new rreplacement

or
Find someone else who has taken it apart and identified the specific microswitch. Replace.
or
Get a new mouse
