how can i fix the backspace and keyboard on my computer

hello i have such a big problem with my computer the space bar and the backspace will not work and it is very annoying on my windows 7 so i really need help how do i fix this plz answer as soon as possible.

no it is a windows 7 computer and the keyboard came with the computer there was no computer section so i just put it in the laptop section sorry for making u confused but i hope u can help.
