So i just purchased this Ultra-wide Monitor from Lg and it says its native resolution is 2560x1080 and on my computer it does not let me pass 1920x1080 and recommends me to 1360x768. It is in widescreen but it is not the best quality it can reach. Is their a way to fix it? I been thinking i have to change the HDMI or something similar... I have also checked the drivers they are all up to date.

My Specs (just in case needed)...
Phenom X4 910
GTX 1060 3gb
MSI 880g E45

Sounds to me like Windows doesn't have the correct profiles for your monitor. Did the monitor come with a CD/DVD? You'll find them on there or LG support page if Windows can't find them on its own.

Are you using the HDMI cable that came with the monitor(if it came with one)? Are you using an old HDMI cable? In Nvidia control panle make sure you are looking inder PS the ultra wide resolution will not be an onption under Ultra HD, HD, SD.

As long as the HDMI cable isn't really old HDMI should work fine. Using HDMI with my LG ultra wide and it works fine(my monitor only has HDMI inputs).

The Hdmi is good, All my drivers are up to date, nothing is showing under pc... should i make a custom resolution at 2560x1080?

It is in the GPU and i meant to say only 1360x768 and 800x600 shows under PC. Will i need a display cable? Or can i do that custom resolution option in Nvidia Control Panel.
