There’s no such feature in WinNT.
If you have Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5 or 6.0 installed on your WinNT machine, you can get some of the Active Desktop features though.

I had some machines that came pre-installed with Winnt + IE4.0 that had Active Desktop. I think that came with IE4.0.

It's better to be rich and healthy than poor and sick!

Here's the tips I've done on my system:

Go get an ie browser installation file, then type the following commands in dos window:

ie5setup.exe /c:"ie5wzd /e:ie4shell_ntx86 /L:Y"
