How can I get audio through DVI?

I have a monitor with a headphone jack, but it also has 144hz, so I use DVI, how can I activate the audio jack without using hdmi?

Short answer is you cant, dvi does not transmit sound, can you not plug the headphones directly into your pc?

Depends on your graphics card. There may be a two pin audio connection port on the card that you would plug into from an audio port on your motherboard.
