Recuva might work, depending on if it was a full write to zero format or just a deletion of file pointers.

there have been a rash of these recently. READ the SCREEN, when it says you will lose all data, do you think it was kidding?

Recuva may work, but do not use the drive at all until you are ready to recover the data.
